| ***General Maintenance Worker*** As the General Maintenance Worker your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Escort approved visitors throughout the facility Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the follow-through of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays Work overtime as required Escort visitors Perform general maintenance tasks Operate gardening and grounds care equipment Perform operator maintenance on equipment Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance Work flexible hours and overtime as required Practical skill and knowledge in carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities Familiarity with operating gardening and grounds care equipment Ability to work flexible hours and overtime Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic Qualifications: Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday. Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building. Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays. Be available to work overtime as required. Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, and must have a Secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen. Desired Skill: Must be able to carry 50 Lbs. |
