The Production Control Asst position supports the manufacturing floor with production control tasks. Uses SAP and Apriso WM daily to put parts to stock, complete remove and replace tasks on rework, and release production orders. Uses Microsoft Excel to monitor release dates, and position to program need on WIP. Works with Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Program Manager, etc. to prevent issues and resolve problems that may arise. Attends stock purge meeting and pulls reports as needed. Helps to keep Kanban inventory accurate and assists with Kanban cycle counts as needed.
Prepare assembly kits for issue to the manufacturing floor in a manner which meets established standards of quality and schedule. Work from pre-printed kit sheets and layout diagrams, in order to efficiently kit materials from stockroom inventory, as well as record / update daily activity within an ACCESS database. Verify SAP system vs. physical inventory, identify anomalies, and initiate corrective actions in accordance with established procedures. Accurately perform daily cycle counts on existing inventory and ensure parts are properly packed and correctly labeled. Requires knowledge of warehousing and stockroom practices, such as receiving, stocking, and issuing materials. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders.
Working in stock room to pull parts as well as move material around on shop floor. Stock room or out on shop floor.
Basic Required Qualifications:
1-High School Diploma (no degree required)
2-Microsoft Office Suite (computer literacy)
3-Experience in Stock Room/Warehouse/production control experience

1-ESD Knowledge
2-Cycle counting experience
3-Experience with ERP system
4-knowledge of SAP and/or Apriso system
