Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process. Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication. Preferred experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required and Eye Exam.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Fabrication role
• A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.
• Preferred IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 Certifications
• Secret Clearance not required to start but ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is Required
• Required (minimum 1/3 of below):
o Associates of Engineering or applicable Associates Science Degree,
o Airframe Power plant Cert
o 4 years at one location where the employee is going to get information more in depth.
